Dedicated Teacher Angie Wytovich of Virginia Wins the 2014-15 Milken Educator Award

Angie Wytovich, a second-grade teacher at Buckland Mills Elementary School in Prince William County, received the surprise of her life when she heard the Secretary of Education Anne Holton announce her name as the 2014-15 Milken Educator Award recipient for the state of Virginia. Wytovich is joining a network of distinguished educators and will get $25,000 to spend however she wishes. On hand to deliver the good news was Dr. Steven R. Staples, Virginia’s Superintendent of Public Instruction and Milken Family Foundation Co-Founder Michael Milken, along with Prince William County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Steven L. Walts, veteran Milken Educators and other dignitaries.
