What happens when U.S. News & World Report names your school the state's best? At Edmond North High School, you put together a huge celebratory assembly packed with dignitaries, including Governor Mary Fallin and Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Joy Hofmeister. But there's another reason for the event, which comes to light when Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, takes the microphone. Milken surprises Principal Debreon Davis with Oklahoma's 2017-18 Milken Educator Award, changing the educator's career forever. Our cameras captured Davis' exciting moment.
