Rocky Ridge Elementary is welcoming Alabama State Superintendent of Education Dr. Eric Mackey for an assembly celebrating the school's STEM programs and grant funding. But then Dr. Mackey introduces Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, who presents science and math teacher Kaitlin McPeake with an Alabama Milken Award and a huge $25,000 check—the surprise of a lifetime!
