Today's morning assembly is a big deal: Ohio Superintendent of Public Instruction Paolo DeMaria has come to Thornville Elementary to celebrate the school's innovative "Positivity Project" character education program. But is there another reason for his visit? Watch as special guest Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, surprises fourth-grade teacher Krista Trent with Ohio's 2018-19 Award—the first ever in Northern Local School District—and $25,000.
