"We have the power of the pin, but the pin also gives us power to advocate for ourselves and the educators in our state," says Jayda Pugliese (PA '16) during a panel discussion about Milken Educators' participation on teacher advisory councils. Ben Nguyen (NV '19) says Nevada's council aims to inspire students to pursue careers in education by showcasing the exciting, positive work teachers do around the state. All panel members are active in their respective states.
