Teacher Kevin Winters “Shocked” by $25,000 for Doing What He Loves

As a TAP math master teacher, new Milken Educator Kevin Winters of Athens City Middle School regularly collaborates with colleagues to analyze performance data and refine teaching strategies, all to improve student achievement across the campus. But none of his algorithms could have predicted a check with the number $25,000 and his name on it for excelling at what he loves.
