LANDER, WY—Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Megan Degenfelder is visiting Gannett Peak Elementary School to talk about the importance of high quality, Tier 1 instruction. But there's more to today's assembly, and it involves a huge surprise for one outstanding educator! Watch as Stephanie Bishop, vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, presents Assistant Principal Megan Park with an "Oscar of Teaching" and $25,000. The day quickly becomes one the outstanding school leader and her community will never forget.
