Sarah Vicini Joins SC Milken Educators

MYRTLE BEACH, SC—It's National School Choice Week and there's an all-school assembly at Coastal High School, with South Carolina Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver making a special visit to celebrate and highlight the importance of diversity in learning options. It seems like an ordinary day until Superintendent Weaver introduces National Institute for Excellence in Teaching Chief Executive Officer Dr. Joshua Barnett, representing the Milken Family Foundation. Watch as Dr. Barnett names social studies teacher and instructional coach Sarah Vicini a 2023-24 Milken Educator Award recipient and presents her with a huge $25,000 check.
