HONOLULU, HI—At Prince David Kawananakoa Middle School, what began as an ordinary assembly became an extraordinary surprise for one outstanding educator. Watch as Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken presents TA Vice Principal and Student Services Coordinator Jade Pham with a Hawaii Milken Award and $25,000. Students, colleagues and visiting VIPs, including Hawaii Governor Josh Green, Lt. Governor Sylvia Luke and Superintendent of Education Keith Hayashi, jump to their feet to celebrate this outstanding educator and Hawaii School District alum.
