Carly Bowden Joins KS Milken Educators

Back in her classroom, Carly Bowden talks with students after her surprise Milken Award assembly. Carly creates innovative, engaging projects that reflect the way math is used in the real world. She sets her room up as a grocery store full of discount and sale offers to help students learn about percentages, an “escape room” where pupils solve equations to move ahead in the game, and even the International Space Station.
