Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, visits Catherine Randall's third-grade classroom after her surprise Milken Educator Award notification. Randall uses a variety of differentiated instructional methods to meet the needs of all her students, including close reading strategies, exit tickets, "Think-Pair-Share," graphic organizers, talk moves and annotation.
