Fifth-grade teacher Shalini Sharma taught in her native India before bringing her talents for education to the United States in 2007. Shalini believes her true calling is educating the youth of today, and that's a great thing for the students of Academia Del Pueblo where her efforts led to academic improvements in reading and math scores for the once struggling fifth-grade class.
