Terry Levenda (IN ’93) passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2019. He was a member of Indiana's first class of Milken Educators. At the time of his Milken Award, Terry was principal of Portage High School in Portage, Indiana.
Terry Levenda.
Was principle at Fegley middle school way before PHS.
He was great with all the teachers, staff and students.
I remember him taking me to the sports store one year I did the most tickets for the school fundraiser. He made me leave
My prizes in the office window
For a week. To motivate next year's tickets sellers. Terry was great. Always there for a student.
Always there all sports events
He even let students sell popcorn

I am so sorry to hear this. Terry was in my MEA class. He was a tremendous support to me and to the rest of us in those early years--always so upbeat and encouraging. I'm sad to know he's passed on, but so glad that I was his colleague!
