InspireNOLA’s Alice M. Harte Charter School in New Orleans has a lot to celebrate: Louisiana Superintendent of Education John White and other dignitaries are visiting to congratulate the school on four straight years of "A" ratings. But there's an unexpected twist to the all-school assembly: White introduces Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, who surprises TAP Master Teacher Theresa Cross with a 2017-18 Louisiana Milken Educator Award.
