Sarah Szymanski Wins CO Milken Award

 

 

"I’m here for two reasons," says Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation. "First, you’re doing so well, so many awards and honors have been given to Soaring Eagles ... all I can say is WOW."

But "the second reason is one you don't know," he continues. Educators, he says, have the most important role in our society—preparing young people for bright futures. More than three decades ago, Mr. Milken created a special initiative that honors and rewards outstanding teachers and principals each year. And this year, one of those outstanding educators is right here at Soaring Eagles!
