Wisconsin Superintendent of Public Instruction Carolyn Stanford Taylor (left) and Monroe School District Superintendent Rick Waski congratulate Sarah Compton on her Milken Educator Award. In addition to her classroom duties, Compton sits on Northside’s leadership committee, has served on district committees for math and literacy, mentors colleagues, developed a district model to spur teachers to engage in peer-to-peer support and cross-coaching, and frequently leads professional development for the district.
