Congrats, Lauren Wilson: You're a VA 2015-16 Milken Educator!

 

Milken Educator Award recipient Lauren Anne Wilson enjoys a quiet moment after her surprise notification at C.D. Hyland Senior High School. Wilson, whose mother was also a teacher, graduated from Hylton High and has taught there for 14 years. She teaches math at several levels, including AP Calculus, where the AP exam pass rate increased from 35% to 85% in the first year after she took over the class.
