With Missouri Department of Education Commissioner Dr. Margie Vandeven looking on, Jordan McGaughey addresses the assembly gathered to honor him as Missouri's 2017-18 Milken Educator Award recipient. "I really believe that any of the teachers could be, and maybe should be, up here," he tells his colleagues. "You are all a constant source of inspiration....You’re my family away from my family." To his students, McGaughey says: "I’m so honored to be your teacher. You guys teach me so much as well. I’m truly blessed to be a Jaguar."
