The special guest is Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards. She tells the assembly that while educators have the most important job in our society, they never get enough recognition. That's why, for more than 30 years, the Milken Family Foundation has been honoring outstanding educators—and this year, one of the very best educators in the country is right here in Valdosta!
