Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, tells the assembly that the Milken Family Foundation believes educators have the most important job in the country: preparing young people for bright futures. For three decades, the Milken Family Foundation has been traveling around the U.S. recognizing outstanding teachers and administrators for their work. And this year, one of the best educators is right here in Maize!
