Biotech Teacher Nicki Derryberry Wins AZ Milken Award

 

 

Red Mountain High School students crowd around biotech teacher Nicki Derryberry to congratulate her on her surprise Milken Educator Award. Addressing the schoolwide assembly, Derryberry tells the students how proud she is of them: "I am so excited to see what all of you do." When asked about their career aspirations, Derryberry's students say they are considering medicine, forensic science and neuroscience.
