Newly minted Milken Educator Anthony Angelini gets his students back on task in the classroom as Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, and visiting dignitaries look on. Angelini often pairs students up for collaborative projects and created a special technical training program for 7th graders. He stays in touch with students and parents with a weekly newsletter. Angelini's students score above the district's average on summative tests, and several have won writing awards from Veterans of Foreign Wars.

  • Hi. I am in the 8th grade and last year, I was privileged to be in Mr. Angelini's 7th grade class. He was one of my favorite teachers and still is today. He was greatly deserving of this award and he is by far one of the best teachers in New Oxford Middle. If I were to nominate a teacher at my school, I would nominate Mr. Angelini! Congrats!!!
