2025 MEA Forum: 3,000 Strong and Making an Impact

 

 

Vicky Condalary (LA '01), senior vice president of services and partnerships at NIET, emphasizes the importance of being a "lead learner" on the NIET panel: "Teacher leaders have to be willing to go first — that’s where we provide support and jump in with them. It's important for us to show other teachers that when we're implementing initiatives, whether it be curriculum, robust standards or technology, we have to be the first to try it. Then, we come back to share with others what worked and what didn't on that campus with those children."
