CONGRATULATIONS! Fifth-grade teacher Linda Dishman, the first Milken Educator Award recipient of 2018-19, gets a hand with her oversized $25,000 check from veteran Milken Educators and visiting dignitaries, including Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer. "This is not a lifetime achievement award," says Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, to Dishman. "We believe you have the potential to do even greater things in the future."
