Principal Williams's morning meeting was abruptly interrupted when he was summoned to his school's media center. Kevin had no reason to suspect that, with the help of some of his staff, he was about to be surprised by the Milken Family Foundation once again.

As Sherry Moser presented Kevin with his Milken Educator pin—in front of the media center's cameras televising the moment to every classroom at Norwood Elementary—cheers and applause could be heard resonating around the school.
