Olivia Joseph (TX '25) is congratulated by Texas State Board of Education Chair Aaron Kinsey after receiving her Milken Educator Award obelisk—and a standing ovation!—at the June 2026 board meeting. Laurie Schrimpsher, district support specialist in the Texas Education Agency’s division of district talent systems, presented the obelisk on behalf of TEA.
