Dr. Jeffery Heggs (GA ’25) receives his Milken Educator Award obelisk from Dr. Bronwyn Ragan-Martin, deputy superintendent of the Georgia Department of Education’s Office of Rural Education and Innovation, on July 12, 2026. The presentation was made before 2,500 attendees of the state’s largest educator conference, hosted by the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders.
