Changing school demographics combined with increased national attention on race have thrust “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion”—commonly known as “DEI”—into the spotlight. Given that school settings are important sources for personal growth and development, educators have taken a closer look at their approaches to foster positive environments where everyone is heard and valued.
