Heather Hurt (AL ’18), a fifth-grade math and science teacher at Vestavia Hills Elementary East in Alabama, reflects on what the Milken Educator Award means to her and how being part of the Milken Educator Network has continued to inspire and shape her life since that incredible day she received her Award in 2018.
