Principal Megan Brown Makes History in Arizona

Principal Megan Brown can't imagine herself in any other profession but education. "This is in my blood — this is what I was born to do," she told us when we surprised her with Arizona's $25,000 Milken Award at Buckeye Elementary. Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne joined us for the festive all-school assembly, where Principal Brown received the first ever Milken Award recipient presented in the Buckeye Elementary School District. "We are a family," Principal Brown told Buckeye students. "We work together, we play together, and we achieve together. I am so proud to be your principal."
