The Milken Award Season Wraps Up in Massachusetts
The 2022-23 Milken Educator Award season wrapped up at Dighton Elementary School when we surprised reading interventionist Leigh Beson with a $25,000 check in front of students, colleagues, veteran Milken Educators, and visiting dignitaries. "You work for years in your bubble of a classroom, not expecting anyone besides the little kids in front of you to care," said the recipient after the assembly. "To be noticed feels really good."
