IDAHO FALLS, ID—When Assistant Principal and Dean of Students Kelly Sheridan walked into today's assembly at Compass Academy, she never expected that Milken Educator Awards Vice President Stephanie Bishop—with the help of Idaho Superintendent of Public Instruction Debbie Critchfield—would flip the script. To everyone’s surprise, the real purpose of the assembly was to honor Sheridan with a $25,000 Milken Educator Award for her leadership and dedication to the Compass community.
