SLIDELL, LA—At Northshore High School, what began as an ordinary assembly became an extraordinary surprise for one outstanding educator. Watch as Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken, with the help of Louisiana Superintendent of Education Dr. Cade Brumley, presents science teacher Kelly Ryan with a Louisiana Milken Award and $25,000. Students and colleagues jump to their feet to congratulate Ryan for earning the first-ever Milken Educator Award in St. Tammany Parish Public School System History. It's an unforgettable day for the Northshore High School Panthers!
