Julie Rowell Joins OR Milken Educators

There's an all-school assembly at Gresham High School, and Oregon Superintendent of Public Instruction Colt Gill is here to talk about the historic Student Success Act. But there's another reason for his visit, which comes to light when Greg Gallagher, senior program director for the Milken Family Foundation, surprises ELL teacher Julie Rowell with Oregon's 2019-20 Milken Educator Award and $25,000. This is one assembly Gresham will remember forever.
