Principal Jill Ridder Receives Surprise $25,000 Milken Award

WOODBINE, IA—Students and staff at Woodbine Elementary School are buzzing about an all-school assembly when a surprise guest makes it clear that the gathering is not what it seems. With Iowa Department of Education Director McKenzie Snow in attendance, Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley presents Principal Jill Ridder a 2025-26 IA Milken Educator Award and a $25,000 cash prize.
