Korri Cunningham Gets the Surprise of a Lifetime in Birmingham, AL

BIRMINGHAM — October 25, 2023, is a day Korri Cunningham will never forget! We surprised the International Baccalaureate (IB) coordinator with the sole 2023-24 Milken Educator Award in Alabama at John Herbert Phillips Academy. Colleagues, veteran Milken Educators, and visiting dignitaries including Alabama State Superintendent of Education Dr. Eric G. Mackey joined in on Korri's surprise celebration. "I hope the students know that they are able to do anything that they put their mind to, no matter what it is," Korri said. "This is beyond my wildest dreams. This is proof that students can do anything."
