Rosa Parks Elementary was on its feet when we surprised second grade teacher Brittany Tinkler with an Indiana Milken Educator Award and $25,000 in front of students, colleagues, veteran Milken Educators, and visiting dignitaries including Indiana Secretary of Education Dr. Katie Jenner. "I was a question asker," Brittany told the students. "Never stop asking questions — promise?" The children responded in unison: "I promise never to stop asking WHY!"
