Two Kentucky Teachers Join the Milken Educator Network

KENTUCKY — In October 2023, two of Kentucky's top teachers received national recognition at festive all-school assemblies. Third grade teacher Shane Baker at Jennings Creek Elementary in Bowling Green and agriculture instructor Jacob Ball at Lexington's Carter G. Woodson Academy won their $25,000 Milken Awards in front of students, colleagues, dignitaries and media. Here's a look at their memorable celebrations.
