It was an exciting day for the students and faculty at North Bay Elementary School in Biloxi, Mississippi, as one of their own—fourth-grade teacher Cagney Weaver—was surprised with the prestigious Milken Educator Award. Mississippi State Superintendent of Education Dr. Carey Wright joined Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley to deliver the news to the enthusiastic audience.  Why did Cagney choose teaching as a career?
