Ryan Williams Reacts to Being Named the Kentucky 2012 Milken Educator and Winning $25,000!

Third-grade teacher Ryan Williams of Mary Lee Cravens Elementary was more than a little shocked to hear his name as the Kentucky Milken Educator Award winner for 2012. Commisioner of Education Terry Holliday and Kentucky First Lady Jane Beshear joined Dr. Jane Foley in an all-school assembly, surprising Ryan, who was understandably emotional and grateful for being "pushed" to his level of excellence.
