Cheryl Watkins

Hello, my name is Cheryl D. Watkins and this is my ImpACT video, “Like a Butterfly!” Chaos Theory talks about the flapping of a single butterfly's wing and the ability of that flap to impact the state of things. Well, I believe that’s what the Milken Award has allowed me to do. With the Milken recognition, I have been able to “flap” in an effort to make an impact on others. Each opportunity that I have been afforded has been used to support children, teachers and the community, and is another “flap” toward making positive changes in education.
