Science Teacher Angela Malone Wins Maryland Milken Award
Angela Malone (MD '15) | Oxon Hill Middle School | Fort Washington, MD | Feb 17, 2016The students and staff at Oxon Hill Middle School have put their best foot forward to welcome special guests Dr. Jack R. Smith, Maryland's interim superintendent of schools, and Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford, who are visiting to recognize the school's outstanding STEM program. But when science department chair Angela Malone receives Maryland's 2015-16 Milken Educator Award and $25,000, the outstanding educator's career is changed forever. Follow along in the photos below.
