Principal Omar Duron Wins AZ Milken Award

Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman is visiting Southwest Junior High School to talk about the importance of the 2020 census, and Principal Omar Duron has planned a festive all-school assembly. When Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken names the principal Arizona's 2019-20 Milken Educator and presents him with a $25,000 check, no one is more surprised than Principal Duron! It's a day the dedicated educator will remember forever.
