Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, tells the crowd that great teachers deserve to be celebrated. "We believe educators have the most important job in our country, because they prepare all of you for your futures—good teachers make a difference," she says. And that's why she's here—to bestow an important national honor on one outstanding educator.
