Standing ovation at Nashville School Arts

Music City has a new star! English teacher and Milken Educator Award winner Misty Ayres-Miranda takes a moment to soak in the standing ovation from students, staff and dignitaries at Nashville School of the Arts. Ayres-Miranda encourages her students to express themselves, organizing poetry slams and spoken word events at NSA, and coaching them for local poetry competitions.
