Kara Davis Wins Arkansas Milken Educator Award

 

 

Still emotional, Milken Educator Award recipient Kara Davis wipes away tears as Johnny Key, commissioner of education for Arkansas, congratulates her on joining the Milken Educator family. "Ms. Davis is a perfect example of excellence in education," Key says. "From her focus on STEM activities and exceptional use of technology in the classroom to the leadership she shows among her peers at her school, Ms. Davis is helping transform Arkansas to lead the nation in student-focused education."
