NV Milken Educators Welcome Special Education Teacher Joseph Kielminski

 

 

With veteran Milken Educator Ben Nguyen (NV '19) standing beside him, Joseph Kielminski takes the microphone to share some thoughts with the students, colleagues, dignitaries and media who just witnessed his Milken Award surprise.

"I don't have the words for how I feel right now, this is amazing," he says. "I started my career here at Foothill. I've been here for eight years and I've learned so many things throughout that time. But I'm only as great as the people I work with: My entire team, my department, and everybody at this school. We elevate each other. And that's the biggest part of being a great teacher is the people you work with and everything that they can create."
