Hawaii Science Teacher Michael Sana Wins 2015-16 Milken Award

Students listen as Michael Sana talks about his educational approach with guests after his surprise Milken Educator Award notification. After the assembly Sana received an email from a former student, 2015 valedictorian Rejina Calo, who now attends Creighton University. "Thank you for seeing my potential in science, believing in me, and pushing me far beyond [what] I could ever imagine," she wrote. "Just know that you've made a huge impact in my life."
