Madison Station students spell 25000

One outstanding teacher at Madison Station is about to win a prestigious national award and a cash prize—but how much? Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, asks volunteers to hold up cards representing the amount of the Milken Educator Award, one digit at a time. When Mississippi State Superintendent Dr. Carey M. Wright brings in the final zero for a total of $25,000, the assembly erupts with cheers and applause.
