The unexpected guest is Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, who tells the assembly that educators have the most important job in the country: preparing young people for successful futures. Three decades ago, she explains, the Milken Family Foundation created the Awards to honor outstanding educators—and this year, one of those Award-winning educators is right here in Jamestown!
